Okay, so let’s dive into this whole Honkai: Star Rail thing. So, today, yeah, there was this big livestream for version 3.4. People are all over it. I mean, everyone just waits to see the new characters in this game—it’s like the highlight. Totally understandable, right?
Anyhow, the juicy bit? We’re talking about this Fate/stay night collab event. I mean, wow. They dropped the news last August or something. It’s like blending two worlds together—Star Rail and the Fate series. How awesome is that? Took a while, sure, but finally, it’s about to happen.
Oh, there’s some stuff about cookies and streaming and whatever… you know what I mean. Anyway, back to the good stuff.
They’ve rolled out new characters for 3.4. Saber and Archer from Fate. Big deal, right? Saber’s a 5-Star Wind/Destruction, sounds fancy. Archer, same star rating but Quantum/Hunt, and you know what? Everyone gets him for free just for logging in. Now that’s a win-win. Plus, they’re here to stay longer than what’s typical in the game—till November, I think.
And hey, you remember Phainon, right? Been around since 3.0. Finally, he’s joining as a playable character. Guess we’ve been waiting, huh? He’s another 5-Star, Physical/Destruction. Oh, and since the Fate folks aren’t following the usual routine, they’re all going live in Phase 1.
Now, talking banners, there’s like six reruns happening. Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle show up in Phase 1, while Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade pop in during Phase 2. No fresh faces in the second half though—which might peeve some folks, but honestly, with so much packed in, who’s really complaining?
Almost forgot—the Stellaron Hunters! They’re actually getting some new tweaks. Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade are getting boosts—battle mechanics, Eidolon effects, you name it. Firefly’s even scoring a new look! Jingliu’s getting an upgrade too, and I’m kinda hoping she joins Elio’s gang of morally ambiguous misfits. Could be wild.
Mark your calendar—July 2nd for 3.4’s launch, and by July 23rd, we’re shifting to the second banner phase. Oh, and there’s some special program you can catch on the VOD or something.
Oh yeah, in May, version 3.3 brought on Hyacine and made a comeback with The Herta. Also, there’s this whole voice actor change kicker—because, surprise, the actors stood with SAG-AFTRA. Makes you think, huh? Like, some voices, like Dan Heng and Himeko, are still in question.
Boy, did I ramble or what? But those are the deets. Exciting times ahead for Honkai fans!
