Retro Studios had this goldmine, or maybe not, called Harmony, right? So, it totally leaked online, which is kinda wild. Over four hours of gameplay just popped up, like someone leaving their diary in public. And oh man, Reddit went full skeptical mode, questioning if Harmony was even worth Retro’s badge. It’s like, the fans know Retro for smashing hits like Metroid Prime, so they’re all, “What’s up with this?”
Speaking of Metroid, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is looking like a big deal. Samus is getting psychic powers, which honestly sounds kinda cool, but who knows? It’s supposed to come out on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025. Maybe. Hopefully. Anyway, it’s not like Retro’s never canned a project before. Remember Star Fox Armada or Raven Blade? Yeah, exactly. And, fun fact, there was gonna be a Zelda project too – unreal, right?
Now, the footage was up on YouTube, thanks to this user Stumblyn, which is a cute name. But, poof, now it’s gone because Nintendo isn’t having it. Copyright strikes are no joke, clearly. But seriously, there was this other big leak back in April 2025 or something. I mean, time flies, right? And Ridge Racer was part of that leak. But this time, Harmony took the spotlight with more content than last time. It was all about this red-haired hero who sings to control nature. Singing and nature – a wild combo.
Honestly, people on Reddit are like, “Would this have been on the top 3D platformers list for Switch?” shrugging it off like, “Nah.” It’s a weird call considering Retro’s usually on point with their finished products, but they have this gallery of bizarrely cancelled gigs. A bit inconsistent if you ask me.
And hey, speaking of consistency, Nintendo Switch 2 is stacking up games – Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Legends Z-A, and even a new Kirby adventure. There’s so much happening, it’s almost impossible to keep track. Plus, there’s always a heap of third-party games, like Cyberpunk 2077’s ultimate edition and Final Fantasy 7’s jazzed-up saga. Oh, and FromSoftware is cooking something new called The Duskbloods. Sounds edgy, right?
Anyway, no idea why this stuff sticks with me, but there it is. Trying to follow this gaming saga is like chasing a cat with a mind of its own. Fun, unpredictable, and never a dull moment!
