Nintendo Releases and Updates – March 13, 2025 News

Last week, we overlooked something: the arrival of Vs Mystery Tower—the arcade adaptation of the Famicom import, Mystery Tower—in the Archives.

Today is a notable day for me because it marks ten years since two significant events: my move into this apartment and the day Neal invited me to join NWR as a writer. So, what’s in store for us this week? Another re-release of Chrono Trigger, perhaps? The anticipation for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is rising as its preload approaches on Thursday. And then there’s MLB 2025’s early access dropping this Friday, in which the Toronto Blue Jays won’t quite match up to the legendary 1927 Yankees, unfortunately. Well, not a whole lot to excite me, except maybe On Your Tail, a new adventure game which for now seems exclusive to Europe, leaving me to wonder if it’ll ever make its way here. On the other end, a slew of comic apps are rolling out in Japan. Perhaps Fate: Reawakened might catch the eyes of those still holding onto hopes for Silksong.
