Sure, imagine this: Nintendo pushed out a new update for Super Mario Party Jamboree — version 2.1.0. Completely out of the blue, right? Just me, staying up late, reflecting on why this stuff sticks with me. Anyway, the big news is it’s now ready for the Nintendo Switch 2. Still, I find these patch notes like reading a technical manual sometimes. Does anyone?
Right, so what’s changed? Well, they’ve done some bug-squishing, which is always a relief. Like, one bug where the game would just sit there staring blankly when you’re trying to move past the “Broozer Bash” screen. Oh, the joys of tech!
And, hang on, there’s more! On the Nintendo Switch 2, seems like skipping around and fiddling with videos got tricky. But they sorted that. Plus, cameras — those things caused a mess if you connected or disconnected them at just the wrong time. I’ve done that. Ever sneeze and click something you shouldn’t have?
Oh, they also played around with CPU movements in some mouse minigames. Not actually sure why that matters so much, but hey. I guess somebody noticed!
For the regular Nintendo Switch, bugs were playing havoc too. Ever try to replay “Rhythm Kitchen” and the game just shrugs, refusing to move? Fixed. Although, I wonder what rhythm games would be like at 3 AM… Anyway, more fixes with Mario’s Rainbow Castle and some issues with stamps. Like, who knew stamps could be such troublemakers?
And the usual “several issues” line is there. Makes you wonder what they aren’t telling us, right? But I suppose all this helps us play without freaking out when things go sideways.
Phew, tech updates, am I right? Hopefully, this means smoother gameplay. Well, until the next unexpected update lands. Who knows when that’ll be?
