Oh man, so GAME kinda goofed up big time, right? Turns out they accidentally pulled the plug on some folks’ pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2. And guess what? The thing’s dropping next week. Talk about bad timing. Not sure how they managed to do that, but they’re promising everybody that they’re hustling to fix the mess.
In their official-sounding but kinda vague apology, they were like, “We’re really sorry about this whole pre-order meltdown,” and yeah, I bet people were about ready to flip, waiting for their shiny new consoles. GAME’s saying they’re scrambling to sort things out, and if your order’s in limbo, hang tight. They’re on it. Or so they say.
They mentioned, and I quote—or maybe just a gist—“Hey, thanks for sticking with us while we figure this out. We really appreciate it.” I mean, what else can they say? Oops?
For those caught in this roulette of chaos, they suggested giving their customer service a ring. Imagine having to make that call, though.
Oh, and by the way, in case you missed it, the Nintendo Switch 2 is hitting stores all across the globe on June 5, 2025. In the UK, it’ll set you back £395.99. Europe’s blowing €469.99 on it, and in the U.S., it’s going for $449.99. Start saving, I guess.
Anyway, was I talking about a trailer? Umm, right, so there’s this overview trailer floating around somewhere for those still curious. Might be worth a watch if you’re trying to decide whether to dive back into this pre-order fiasco. Stay tuned or maybe just call GAME.
